IQair air purifiers are the top of the line when it comes to air purifiers available on the market. They are commonly used in hospitals and laboratories nationwide. If they are good enough for a hospital than certainly they should suite your home just as well.

IQair air purifiers claim to outperform other air cleaners because while other air cleaners can  clean out micron particles down to a 0.3, IQair can remove particles to as low as 0.1 which means it is 99% efficient. Because of its efficiency, it is rated as one of the best air purifiers for people with severe allergies and people suffering from asthma. In fact the American Lung Association is an educational partner with IQAir.

IQair is no small fry. It’s pretty large in size which means it can effectively clean the air in a large room (roughly a 900 square foot room). Any smaller and you would need several of them in a room.

Like most air purifiers, the IQAir removes pollens, pet dander, molds and other airborne particles but the IQAir HealthPro Plus also removes light smoke and odors. Many air purifiers cannot do this.

Consumers have reported a significant decrease in seasonal allergies with the IQAir in their home. There are also reports of people that are normally allergic to cats but were able to visit a home that has both the cats and the IQAir with no allergic reactions. Asthma sufferers have noticed an enormous decrease in reactions as well.

The major deterrent of purchasing the IQAir air purifiers for many consumers is the cost. They are one of the most expensive air cleaners available. They cost about $700-$800.00 and the filters are quite expensive running at about $60.00-$189.00.  You will need to replace the HyperHEPA filter ($189.00) every 6-18 months, the PreMax Pre-filter ($59.00) every 1-2 years and the V5 Cell Gas & Odor filter ($89.00) every 2-4 years.

It would be easy to just conclude that the cost is the deciding factor against purchasing it but in the long run the IQAir is worth the investment. Instead of having to purchase a new air cleaner ever 1-2 years, why not purchase one that will last many years and even includes a 5 year warranty.

Another drawback about IQAir air purifiers is that it is rather noisy if on the highest setting but if lowered it seems to suite people just fine.
