Double Chin Liposuction: Get Rid Of A Double Chin For Good

By

Get Rid of That Double Chin!

There are few problem areas in the body that are more annoying than having a double chin. Seriously, have you seen someone with a double chin? It’s one thing to have a bit of extra baggage around the tummy; you can always hide that tiny unsightly bulge with smart dressing.

But how do you hide a double chin?

It’s not like popped collars work. The second chin is there, always jutting out just as you want to make that good impression. Pictures are even worse, as you can barely deny that bit of bulge, especially when in profile! The thing is, it’s right below your face, which makes it front and center of everything as far as your looks are concerned.

So what do you do? You can disguise it, can’t conceal it – short of wearing a neck brace there’s just nothing you can do. This means you have no choice but to get rid of it. Here are few ways that can help you get rid of that nasty double chin.

  1. Stand up straight. Keep your head up and don’t slouch! In the same way that good posture keeps the stomach looking a lot leaner, holding your head high and facing the world with a straight face minimizes that double chin.
  2. Exercise. Yes, the “E” word. Take time to eat healthy and burn off that muffin you just ate with a few minutes on the treadmill. There’s no chin-specific exercise, so you have to do a full body workout. When you lose weight, that second chin is bound to disappear as well.
  3. Double chin liposuction. Unfortunately, double chins don’t always appear as a result of poor eating habits and lack of exercise. This can also be caused by genes and age – two things no amount of exercise can fully fix. As a last resort, you can opt for double chin liposuction, wherein the extra fat is removed and skin sagging can be minimized. With the extensive improvements in science today, the process of double chin liposuction can be completed in a short time with minimal side effects and faster recovery. It is important to talk to a doctor before undergoing any medical procedure like this of course.

So really, you no longer have to look at your profile in the mirror and sigh in disappointment. You’ve got choices; just pick the one that suits your double chin situation best.

great hub - I inherited a double chin and always have to work to keep it tightened up. I want liposuction, but just a bit worried.

Good hub, I think i'll go with exercises though, as I'm a bit wary of any medical procedure done on me.:)

KPC, yea I wouldn't go through the procedure unless it was a last resort. Unfortunately for some, they can be at their absolute lowest weight recommended and still have a double chin. Some fat is just truly stubborn.

Good article. I think there are other things short of surgery, like Thermage, that can help. I Botoxed my neck cords and I think that helped me, too.
